The group objectives are to improve the life quality of patients with Multiple Sclerosis and enfurthen the knowledge of the pathogenic mechanims with the purpose of developing new more effective therapeutic strategies.

Other areas of interest are: genetic expression related to treatment response, genes that promote susceptibility to MS, animal model - EAE and prognostic factors in initial bursts.
