  • The objective of this program is to study the role of the immune response in the pathogenesis of multiple sclerosis and opportunities to shape its effect through specific immunotherapies.
  • The aim is to validate abnormalities in prospective clinical studies to define the role in disease susceptibility and their use as biomarkers.
  • At the same time these deregulatory pathways could be therapeutic targets. Although the development of new therapies is a long process identifying microbiota predisposing disease or protects short term can mean diet interventions or the use of specific nutraceuticals for modifying the course of illness.

This program is organized into the following work packages:

WP4. Role of celular and humoral immune response in MS

WP5. Microbiota and immune response in MS
